🤖 ELON LAUNCHES NEW AI COMPANY

Musk's at it again, this time launching AI startup xAI to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT.

The aim? To build a safer AI, maximally curious and understanding of the universe, all while being pro-humanity.

Musk, who co-founded OpenAI before stepping down, believes superintelligence is just 5-6 years away.

His stellar crew includes ex-DeepMind, Google and Microsoft engineers. The company is currently hunting for experienced tech talent in the San Francisco Bay Area.

If successful, Musk's AI venture could redefine the sector with his philosophy of curiosity-driven, safety-first AI.

Microsoft and KPMG are pairing up in a $2B deal for AI (yes, that's "Billion" with a B).

Their five-year pact aims to forge cloud and generative AI tools.

While rivals like PwC and Accenture are also betting big on AI, KPMG is going all-in.

It's betting that AI enhancements will boost all its sectors: audit, tax, and advisory.

The plan? Things like training their 265k global workforce on AI, helping to audit and interpret regulations faster, and the list goes on.

KPMG's confident about this move- predicting a tidy $12B in global revenue opportunities.

Looks like it’s also a big payday for Resemble AI.

The voice cloning wiz raked in $8M in Series A funding, led by Javelin Venture Partners.

They're looking to buff up enterprise products and double their 20-people team.

Voice cloning is certainly hot, but very controversial. Actors are losing voice rights, synthetic clones might replace them. Deepfakes are also a huge issue.

But Resemble's playing it safe. Consent is key and strict guidelines are set.

How're they going about this? "Consent clips", "misuse flagging", and "Resemble Detect" will be efforts to verify audio authenticity.
