Investing is never a straightforward endeavor. Just look at the AI-landscape and that fact will become clear as day…
Most notably, Microsoft and Alphabet's A.I. ventures reveal vastly different outcomes.
Microsoft's shares are up by 3.9%, with a reported $56.3 billion in sales, greatly credited to its Azure cloud and significant investment in OpenAI. What's more, over 18,000 organizations now utilize ‘Azure OpenAI’, and Bing has integrated ChatGPT.
On the other hand, Alphabet's shares dipped by 6.2%. While they saw growth in Google search and YouTube, their cloud results were underwhelming.
Despite this, CEO Sundar Pichai remains committed to leading in A.I.

Ever since Midjourney and DALL-E hit the scene, artists have been having trouble holding onto their intellectual property...that is, until now.
Nightshade is a new tool for combatting AI misuse of their work. This tool can be attached to digital art, "poisoning" the data, which confuses and potentially ruins AI art models like DALL-E.
The method involves subtle changes to the pixels, exploiting a vulnerability in the training phase.
The end result? A model that can't distinguish basic images correctly.
As the debate around AI and copyright continues, tools like Nightshade serve as a defense for artists.
