Alright, here's the lowdown. Meta, the force behind Facebook and Instagram, is gearing up to challenge the AI giants.

They're in the lab, brewing a new AI model that's supposed to stand toe-to-toe with OpenAI's big shots. This isn't just a small step up from their recent Llama 2 release, they're aiming big.

The dream? To help businesses churn out high-level text and analyses. Zuckerberg's playing captain, ensuring Meta doesn’t just follow but leads in the AI world.

They're investing in beefy infrastructure to make this happen. Plus, in typical Zuck style, they're eyeing an open-source model, democratizing AI.

But, there’s a side note: open-source could open doors to some risks. While Meta's ambition is sky-high, only time will tell if they truly bridge the gap with their competitors.

One thing is for sure: They have some of the best training data of any company in the world.

Reliance and Nvidia are teaming up, with the goal of building a monster language model trained on India's myriad of languages.

They're not stopping there, though. Plans to construct AI infrastructure stronger than India's current fastest supercomputer are in motion.

Nvidia's gifting Jio with AI supercomputer tech. In return, Jio manages the AI cloud, customer interactions, along with some other responsibilities.

Jensen Huang, Nvidia's boss, is stoked about the potential of India-made AI. Meanwhile, Reliance continues its expansion journey, now with AI in the mix, backed by heavyweights like Meta and Google.

However, India's AI game still lags globally. It's clear that their hope lies in this partnership changing that narrative.

💡AI CAREER INSIGHT

AI gigs are the new big thing in the freelance world. According to Indeed, generative AI job posts skyrocketed nearly 250% from July 2021 to 2023.

Remember when ChatGPT went mainstream in November 2022? LinkedIn saw a 21-fold increase in mentions of the term “AI” since.

As we can clearly see, companies have been diving into AI ever since. The freelance industry is no exception. Fiverr has benefited and is seeing massive interest, especially in AI-related video creation.

All you really need are some "AI skills". Turns out, the majority of sectors lack AI proficiency.

So what's the key to breaking into AI? A strong foundation in computer science is helpful along with tools like ChatGPT.

But remember: in the end, it's about solving real-world problems, not just the tech.
