🤖 META TO LAUNCH AI PERSONAS

Meta's cooking up a spicy concoction of AI-powered chatbots they call "personas"! These bad boys are set to rock our social media world, engaging us on Facebook and Instagram like never before.

Picture this: a travel adviser who talks like a laid-back surfer or even channeling Abraham Lincoln himself!

With TikTok breathing down their necks, Meta's going all-in on AI tech. They just unleashed the "Llama 2" language model, and now these sassy chatbots are ready to strut their stuff.

Mark Zuckerberg himself sees them as personal assistants and coaches, bridging the gap between users, businesses, and creators.

But, some experts are voicing concerns over privacy hazards, warning of our data exposed to the company. Will these AI personas be our new besties or social media enablers?

A new loophole has been found that makes AI chatbots spit out nasty stuff...

Carnegie Mellon researchers found a way to defy all the defenses in popular chatbots like ChatGPT and Google's Bard.

How do they do it?

By adding 'weird incantations' (gobbledygook to us humans) added to a prompt can make AI models give forbidden answers.

(For "safety purposes", we'll let you look for it on your own. 😉)

They warned OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic about the exploit, but no one has found a fix yet.

This highlights a fundamental weakness, complicating efforts to deploy advanced AI. Whether or not a solution will be found soon is yet to be seen.

What's AI's latest party trick? Predicting employee resignations before they happen.

Recruitment company Talent Propeller is rolling out tech that can tell you when an employee is most likely to give notice.

The AI analyzes HR data like salaries, performance reviews, and personal details to predict who's likely to head for the exit. It also suggests how to reduce such risk.

Sharon Davies, the company's MD, assures no privacy concerns and no job loss for HR folks. It just means they can work faster.

So is there any catch? Only that you need a big team (250+ employees) for this crystal ball to work.
