Clinical trials: slow, expensive, frustrating. 🐌
Enter Lindus Health, a London-born "next-gen contract research organization" (shoutout to the UK’s startup scene). They just bagged a cool $18M in Series A from big fishes like Spotify investor Creandum and Peter Thiel (yes, that Thiel).
Founded by ex-venture capitalist Meri Beckwith and Michael Young (formerly advising the UK Prime Minister on life sciences), Lindus wants to turbo-charge clinical trials by managing the whole shebang.
And it's all teched-up: machine learning for smarter trial designs, AI-assisted data monitoring, and more.
Here's the zinger: if Lindus's tech-first approach scales, it could be a game-changer for AI in medical R&D.

Big AI models can also come with big trust issues...
NewsGuard just released an audit, and it's raising some eyebrows. It finds that ChatGPT-4 and Google's Bard might be spewing more myths than fact.
Despite safety concerns, these AI models still ain’t perfect.
ChatGPT-4 propagated 98 out of 100 false narratives. And Bard's count was only slightly better, with 80 out of 100.
In the end, high tech doesn't always mean high truth. AI companies, it’s time to step it up.
💡AI CAREER INSIGHT
The race for generative AI talent is on fire.
How much, you ask?
Some salaries are soaring up to $900K.
Just this year, AI job listings on Indeed quadrupled. Netflix in particular grabbed headlines by offering that juicy $900K for an AI role. Even non-tech giants like Walmart are diving in.
Fresh out of college? Meta might have a $137K job waiting for you.
The bottom line: generative AI jobs are heating up…and those who understand AI may have their wallet thanking them down the road.
