Intuit's diving headfirst into AI waters.
They've just dropped their shiny, new AI-powered digital assistant named "Intuit Assist" for the masses.
Rolled out across their heavy hitters like TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, this bad boy is all about offering hyper-personalized insights for businesses and consumers. Think tailored tax checklists and smart marketing campaigns.
But the company isn't only touting its AI innovations; it's built on Intuit's GenOS - a super-charged AI operating system.
Not without its challenges, but it looks like Intuit's all-in.

According to Microsoft, China's now whipping up AI-generated images to influence US voters and stir the pot online. Unfortunately, it’s not your regular stock photos or cringe digital art anymore…
Clint Watts at Microsoft's Digital Threat Analysis Center says they're mostly about hot topics, like gun violence and throwing shade at U.S. figures.

Ello: This startup is on a mission to tackle childhood illiteracy and just successfully raised $15M in their Series A.
Their approach is unique: they're combining AI with child-specific speech recognition technology. This funding is set to boost their product development and broaden their reach to consumers.
Imbue: This research lab that you might remember as Generally Intelligent just clinched a cool $200M in their Series B.
With this round, they've rocketed into the unicorn club, now valued at a staggering $1 billion. Notable backers this round include the Astera Institute, Nvidia, Cruise's very own CEO Kyle Vogt, and Notion's co-founder Simon Last.
d-Matrix: Silicon Valley's own just bagged a cool $110 million in investments, with tech titan Microsoft among its backers.
D-Matrix crafts chips optimized for generative AI applications like ChatGPT, using digital "in-memory compute" for enhanced efficiency. Their innovative chip technology consumes less energy for data processing, making it ideal for generating AI responses.
