Hugging Face just snagged a whopping $235M in Series D, bringing their valuation to a solid $4.5B.

So who's footing the bill? Just names like Google, Amazon, Nvidia, and Salesforce.

Not just text, but actual speech – at a smooth 80 words per minute!

Plus, her avatar's voice? Reminiscent of her pre-injury days.

So how does it work? Instead of whole words, the AI decodes phonemes (speech's building blocks) for greater precision.

Next up on their agenda is making the tech wireless. It's all part of Dr. Edward Chang's dreams of restoring genuine, natural communication for folks.
