🔦 ELON REVEALS ‘TRUTHGPT’

Elon Musk has been thinking about AI for a long time. And he’s beginning to integrate it across ALL of his businesses:

  • He’s using AI/ML to enable self-driving cars at Tesla.

  • He’s buying thousands of GPUs & hiring DeepMind engineers at Twitter.

  • He recently founded a company called X.AI

Last night he did a television interview with Tucker Carlson, where he focused on his recent AI moves & discussed the dangers of AI.

Here are some of the major takeaways:

  • Elon is worried that hyper-intelligent AI could use Twitter to manipulate public opinions

  • He said that Larry Page once told Elon Musk that he wanted to build a “Digital God” using A.I.

  • He claimed that companies are teaching AI to lie, and ignore the data when giving responses

And in one final twist, Elon made a cryptic tweet regarding OpenAI after the interview had aired:

🔦 EDUCATION GETS AN AI UPGRADE

AI will revolutionize education.

One company is getting started early.

Chegg announced its new AI-enhanced learning service: CheggMate.

It's goal is to create an AI conversational learning companion by leveraging:

  • Chegg's personalized learning platform

  • Proprietary data sets

  • The advanced problem-solving capabilities of GPT-4.

From personalized learning pathways to tailor-made tests, Cheggmate will have it all.

🔦 ARE CHATBOTS EVOLVING?

Ever dream of having your own personal J.A.R.V.I.S.?

Well, it looks like we're getting closer to the day where's that will be a reality.

The application is open-source and utilizes a GPT-4 “AI agent” to complete tasks.

The big break through here is that it doesn’t require human intervention to accomplish subsequent tasks.

Instead, you can simply set a goal and the agent will do what it takes to achieve it by writing it’s own prompts.

Some other key aspects to AutoGPT:

  • It has real-time access to the Internet

  • It has memory so it can remember previous tasks

  • It can leverage several different LLMs

🔦 AI PHOTO TRICKS JUDGES

How will photographers fare against the likes of AI?

Apparently, not so great.

Boris Eldagsen entered his photo into the Sony World Photography competition.

Little did they know, it was actually generated by AI...

And it won!

Luckily, Herr Eldagsen is an honest artist. He revealed the true origins of his photo and refused the award.

Eldagsen says he did this for two reasons: to test the competition and to start a discussion.

In doing so, he hopes to highlight the growing use of AI in various creative fields.
