CPO Rita Popova aims to destigmatize AI in romance. Replika, their "friendbot", had users forming emotional bonds. After criticisms, they pivoted to Blush for healthy flirting.
Blush supports LGBTQ+ users, plans resources on relationships and sexual identity. This 18+ AI engages in erotic chats, sets boundaries, and mimics real relationship dynamics. Safety and inclusivity are key.

DeepMind's AlphaDev, an upgrade to AlphaZero, is on a code-optimizing tear.
It delivers item-list sorting 70% faster than the best human method, which is a huge improvement. Additionally, it uncovered a method to accelerate a crucial cryptography algorithm by 30%.
With their algorithms now embedded in popular programming languages, even a one-step gain in efficiency means trillions of daily operations get an upgrade.
The twist?
These "games" AlphaDev plays are shaping up as a new method for optimizing code - a welcome innovation with vast possibilities.

Black Mirror's mastermind Charlie Brooker decided to consult ChatGPT for an episode script. But instead of a new work, it gave him a 'mush' of all previous synopses.
Sure, it's AI and can't experience like the world like we can, but this little AI rendezvous had Brooker think harder about some tropes in his writing.
Looks like ChatGPT isn’t ready for Hollywood yet, which should help give writers a bit of relief for now.
In the meantime, perhaps it can help them reflect on their work a bit more.
