Anthropic, spearheaded by former OpenAI elites, has jazzed up their text-generating beast, Claude Instant 1.2.
It's smarter, faster, and less prone to errors. Those coding scores? Jumped from 52.8% to a spicy 58.7%.
And if you’re thinking of hacking or tricking it? Think again. It boasts a context window as long as The Great Gatsby, so it’s not about to forget any details.
Anthropic's ultimate goal? An AI that learns all on its own. Claude Instant may not be "it" yet, but it's pushing the envelope. With a war chest in the billions and big-name partners, Anthropic is making waves.

The FEC's eyeing regulation on AI deepfakes, specifically in 2024 political ads.
As everyone knows, the Age of AI is bringing along plenty of disinformation with it. Some 2024 campaigns, including DeSantis's, already used AI-manipulated visuals.
The FEC's stance is, in-part, a response to Public Citizen's call to clarify whether existing law covers AI deepfakes.
Some officials doubt FEC's authority on the issue, while others see deepfakes as distinct fraud. As a result, regulation may demand clear AI usage disclaimers.
Will there be challenges? Of course, including loopholes for PACs and individual users.
Regardless, the government will have their work cut out for them.
