šŸ”¦ EX GOOGLE CEO FUNDS AI WAR COMPANY

Every war in the history of the world has been decided by one factor: technology.

From automatic weapons to the atomic bombs, technology has helped settle conflicts.

The side who lags on adapting new technologies, tends to lose.

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt believes AI will be the next deciding technology in global conflicts.

And heā€™s putting his money where his mouth is by investing in an AI startup called Istari.

Istari provides the Pentagon with a valuable service:

Using machine learning to virtually assemble and test war machines from computer models.

This helps the Pentagon to develop hardware faster.

But Schmidtā€™s efforts do not end with Istari. He believes that the Pentagonā€™s technology is lagging behind.

Schmidt is working directly with the Pentagon to improve their software development practices. As well as to improve their core competency in areas such as AI.

While this can be a touchy subject, thereā€™s no doubting itā€™s importance.

An ideal outcome would be one in which technology can act as a deterrent, and prevent further global conflict.

šŸ”¦ BUILD YOUR OWN CHATGPT

Lately thereā€™s been a lot of talk about ChatGPTā€¦

Some people love it. Others think itā€™s biased.

But what if you could customize ChatGPT to your own liking?

Thatā€™s exactly what CustomGPT is attempting to do.

Instead of leveraging generic data sets, CustomGPT allows users to upload a stream of their own content.

It then leverages OpenAIā€™s language models to train off of this data.

The end output is a chatbot that fits your specific voice and tone.

With this tool, users can automate tasks like blog posts, emails, and more.

I believe this could provide us a glimpse into the future of chatbots. Currently ChatGPT has the majority of users, but itā€™s unclear what the long-term competitive moat is.
