Job hunting just got a robot twist, and it's causing some headaches. Meet the chatbot recruiters, the new fad for companies seeking to streamline the hiring process.

Sadly, candidate Amanda Claypool found out the hard way that they're not all they're cracked up to be. Glitches galore!

McDonald's, Wendy's, and Hardees' bots left her bewildered with flaky in-person interviews and mismatches. And here's the kicker: these bots might be showing bias in their digital decisions, sending qualified candidates packing without a human touch.

It's like AI playing with people's livelihoods. As the hiring circus rolls on, let's hope for a bit more finesse and a lot less glitchy drama.

It looks like Meta needs a refresher on what the term "open source" means. Apparently, LLaMa 2 doesn't make the cut.

OSI defines it as not excluding groups or limiting how the tech's used.

Unfortunately for them, Meta's license flunks both.

So what does this mean in reality?

Meta's rules could block using LLaMa in beneficial sectors like medical devices. It also adds confusion in an already muddled "open source" AI world.

There's a ray of hope though when it comes to such terminology. OSI is crafting a shared definition and is currently seeking ideas for it.

ServiceNow, NVIDIA, and Accenture are going full-throttle on enterprise generative AI adoption.

Together, they're starting AI Lighthouse: a pioneering program meant to rocket-boost development and adoption of such capabilities.

The game plan? Combine ServiceNow's automation, NVIDIA's AI supercomputing, and Accenture's consulting prowess. This is essentially a trifecta to architect custom LLMs and applications.

These companies expect some solid ROI ("return on intelligence", in this case?). This includes slashing manual work, promoting self-service, generating auto-content, and boosting developer productivity.

Who could say no to that?
