NEWS

All 50 states are sounding the alarm on AI.

Attorneys general across the board are pressing Congress to address AI's role in child exploitation.

Their asking for a commission to form that's tasked with tackling AI-generated child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

This is in response to bad actors are using AI to make deepfakes of children. Some are even animating realistic images that eerily resemble real kids.

Alan Wilson's leading this charge, and all 50 states are on board. While the US is dabbling in AI ethics and regulation, the AGs are clear: Don't let kids' safety get lost in the shuffle.

NEWS

Zoom's got some big announcements for us this week. They've spiced up their AI-powered features, relaunching the once-called "Zoom IQ" as "AI Companion."

Its biggest flex? A ChatGPT-esque bot for direct chats with the AI. Users can ask this buddy about past meetings, draft responses, even get real-time meeting feedback.

AI summarizations? Zoom will have that as well, along with a Team Chat.

Before you even ask…Yes, you'll have to pay for these features. Another thing to keep in mind is the company's financial state. They recently had a $108M loss and a staff cut.

Sounds like Zoom's betting big on this one, with hopes of bouncing back their bottom line.
